This booklet overviews the work and life of the traditional printer Lindsay Schmittle, and her company Gingerly Press. Each page discusses a different aspect of Lindsay and her company and was designed using her style as the main inspiration and aesthetic.
Process
The research that went into this assignment was all centered around my printer, Lindsay Schmittle. I not only delved into all of her artwork so that my booklet could properly exhibit her style, but I also researched in-depth information about her past and how she got into printing, but I also. I used this information to create a color palette to follow, and analyzed her website and artwork to find appropriate fonts to use.
